During August 1998 I spent a week in Scotland, visiting Glasgow, the southern Highlands and the Isle of Islay. I started in the southern Highlands, where I visited the Falls of Dochart at Killin near Loch Tay. My next stop was the Isle of Islay with its bays and beaches. I spent a few days on the Isle of Islay before returning to the mainland. My last stop was Glasgow with its buildings designed by Charles Rennie Mackintosh.
