Scotland 1997-2008

Scotland 2000 In September 2000 it was time for another holiday in Scotland. Read my reports and see the pictures. A map shows you where the places I visited are. Scotland Summer 2003 Two weeks in Scotland with visits to Islay, Skye, Glen Affric and the Cairngorms. A large part of it together with my mother, who came over from Germany.	Scotland Winter 2003 A long weekend in December 2003 hillwalking at Ben Lomond and Ben Arthur. Followed by a day in Edinburgh.
Scotland April 2004 The WalkIslay Walking Week in late April 2004, together with my mother. Lots of pictures from all the walks we participated in on Islay and Jura.	Scotland Summer 2004 Another summer in Scotland, this time partly with my sister. Horse trekking in Kintyre (for her), hiking in Argyll and on Arran (for me) and Islay and Colonsay (for both).	Scotland Winter 2004 A long weekend in early December 2004, mainly hillwalking in the Arrochar Alps, but also two museums in Glasgow.
Scotland April 2005 The third WalkIslay Walking Week in late April 2005, after a wet start some great weather with excellent views and panoramas.	Scotland Summer 2005 Another visit to Islay after some hillwalking in the North West Highlands as well as a great day in the Arrochar Alps during August 2005.	Scotland Winter 2005 A long weekend in early December 2005, mainly hillwalking in the Arrochar Alps and the Trossachs, but also Christmas shopping in Glasgow
Scotland April 2006 The fourth WalkIslay Walking Week was held in late April 2006, a great week with fantastic walks, fantastic weather throughout.	Scotland Summer 2006 Two weeks in August 2006, the first mainly in Wester Ross, the second on the Isle of Islay	Scotland April 2007 The fifth Islay Walking Week in April 2007, great walks on both Islay and Jura with mostly good weather.

A Weekend in England 1999 After a business trip from Munich to Swindon I had the opportunity to stay over a weekend for visits to Oxford and London	The Isle of Purbeck A weekend on the Isle of Purbeck in Dorset/England. Sunshine and fog in an interesting mixture.	Imke's visit 2000 My sister visited me in early Oct 2000 for a long weekend. Pictures and information from our day trips to London, Bath and Oxford.
