Friday morning we took the train from Swindon to London Paddington. We had planned to visit Madame Tussauds, hoping the queue wouldn't be too long at this time of the year. How wrong we were... The queue was long, very long. And we hadn't pre-booked, which you can do at www.madame-tussauds.com. So we decided to do other things. I met Sherlock Holmes, who lived just around the corner in 221 B Baker Street. We went to Buckingham Palace, although I wasn't too impressed and didn't take any pictures of it (apart from the one on the right, if you count the horseguards as belonging to it). |

We just couldn't leave London without a picture of Imke with a horse... |
