About 3/4 of a mile east of Gortantaoid Point in the north of Islay Doodilmore River reaches the sea, bringing water from the hills. When we visited in June 2010 there wasn't much water, still it was an impressive sight. The river has cut deeply into the ground here, creating a small deep gorge with the waterfall on one end and the sea at the other. The Isle of Colonsay and on a clear day also Mull can be seen across the sea. Rotate the panorama and zoom in for further details:

You can navigate by pointing your mouse over the panorama and moving it while pressing the mouse button. You can zoom in/out with the +/- controls just under the panorama. Some areas in the panorama are hotspots, if you move your mouse pointer over them a short explanation will show in the status bar of the panorama window. You can switch on/off highlighting of the hotspots by clicking on the arrow with the question mark below the panorama.
