Looking back to Islay from the Port Askaig to Kennacraig ferry during an afternoon crossing in August 2006. Three islands are visible in the panorama: On the far left you can see the northern tip of the Isle of Gigha. Starting under the cloud formation Islay comes into view. Islay then stretches all the way up to a point just right of the ramp of the ferry. This is where the entrance to the Sound of Islay is. Next is Jura with the silhouette of the Paps of Jura nicely visible against the clouds. Jura then continues to stretch into the distance.

You can navigate by pointing your mouse over the panorama and moving it while pressing the mouse button. You can zoom in/out with the +/- controls just under the panorama. Some areas in the panorama are hotspots, if you move your mouse pointer over them a short explanation will show in the status bar of the panorama window.
