A view over Kilchiaran and Machir Bay on the west coast of Islay from near the old RADAR installations above Machir Bay. I took the pictures for this panorama in early June 2010, having noticed that the haar (sea fog) was moving in. Luckily I arrived at the top of the hill at the right time to see the haar stretching inland and over the beach, an interesting view from well above the fog (The view is from approx 120m above sea level). From left to right the view takes in Kilchiaran, Machir Bay, the beach at Machir Bay, the dunes and Kilchoman (and much more). Rotate the panorama and zoom in for further details:

You can navigate by pointing your mouse over the panorama and moving it while pressing the mouse button. You can zoom in/out with the +/- controls just under the panorama. Some areas in the panorama are hotspots, if you move your mouse pointer over them a short explanation will show in the status bar of the panorama window. You can switch on/off highlighting of the hotspots by clicking on the arrow with the question mark below the panorama.
