The Armin Grewe Homepage

A panorama of the building site for the former Islay Hotel in Port Ellen. This view is from mid July 2008. The summer months helped to make a lot of progress since April 2008. The first floor is almost complete and work on the second floor has started. Window sills are being put in place, note the difference between the south-eastern (left) and eastern (right) facing elevations. Several more features of the new building are now recognisable, including where most of the guest rooms will be.

You can navigate by pointing your mouse over the panorama and moving it while pressing the mouse button. You can zoom in/out with the +/- controls just under the panorama. Some areas in the panorama are hotspots, if you move your mouse pointer over them a short explanation will show in the status bar of the panorama window.
