A view over Loch Indaal from the pier at Port Charlotte on a calm evening in August 2005. On the far left looking north east the last houses of Port Charlotte, then Port Charlotte Lighthouse comes into view. On a clear day the hills of Jura can be seen on the horizon, it wasn't clear enough this day. On the far end of Loch Indaal you can just make out Blackrock and Bridgend, closer again parts of Bowmore come into view. Behind it in the distance the highest hills on Islay in the south east. Following the shore past Gartbreck we reach Laggan Point, mostly hidden behind it is Laggan Bay. Looking south The Oa comes into view with its cliffs. Finally on the far right of the panorama and now looking south west some of the houses on Shore Street come into view.
You can navigate by pointing your mouse over the panorama and moving it while pressing the mouse button. You can zoom in/out with the +/- controls just under the panorama.
