A view over the southern end of the shore of Islay at the Sound of Islay, seen from the ferry travelling from Port Askaig to Kennacraig. The view stretches from McArthur's Head to An Cladach: On the far left you can just make out Kintyre in the haze in the distance. Then McArthur's Head with the lighthouse. Above and to the right of it Beinn na Caillich, the two summits are 332m and 308m high. Below and to the right Gleann Choireadail cuts into Islay, Glas Bheinn (472m) at the end. Rising up almost from the shore Sgorr nam Faoileann (429m), next to it Gleann Ghaireasdail. And finally An Cladach with the bothy at the shore.
