The Armin Grewe Homepage

On the west coast of Islay, hidden by the dunes at Kilchoman, we find the beautiful beach at Machir Bay. One of the best times to visit I think is at low tide, when the beach is huge and the old wreck is visible (provided it is not covered by the sand). The view takes in the dunes, the coastline stretching out south down the Rhinns of Islay, the huge big sky, just a lot of space usually only shared with a handful of people, if that. Rotate the panorama and zoom in for further details:

You can navigate by pointing your mouse over the panorama and moving it while pressing the mouse button. You can zoom in/out with the +/- controls just under the panorama. Some areas in the panorama are hotspots, if you move your mouse pointer over them a short explanation will show in the status bar of the panorama window. You can switch on/off highlighting of the hotspots by clicking on the arrow with the question mark below the panorama.
